Our Home Renovation
To make a long story short, we bought this house to flip and resell when we first got married. We began renovations and then found out we would be having a baby so we decided to move in ourselves. Because we initially planned to sell the house, we kept things very neutral and painted all the walls white. Now that we live here, we’ve had to come up with some ways to add a little life back into the house to make it feel like our home.
BEFORE
Most of the photos we have are from during the renovation process. This video shows you the true “before” condition of the home. We had to knock out a cast iron tub, rip off TONS of paneling and wallpaper, replace a drop ceiling, hang lots of drywall, do some electrical repairs, and level out the driveway with more gravel. We also put up shutters, replaced everything in the kitchen, and laid new flooring throughout the entire house. It was quite a process!

Since We’ve Moved In
It feels like it has taken forever to get the rooms furnished and decorated to our liking and sometimes we think if we could start over we’d do so much different—haha! In the future, we’d like to add garage doors to our detached garage, paint/wallpaper a few walls in our bedroom, change the media console below the TV in the living room, and get a different couch. Little by little, we are making the space our own :)
